Biography

Julie Buckles earned her MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch College in Los Angeles. She currently works as a journalist and a freelance writer, her work appearing in many publications including Fourth Genre, Christian Science Monitor and Milwaukee Journal Sunday Magazine. She resides in northern Wisconsin, one mile from Lake Superior with her husband, two children, three guinea pigs, and team of Siberian huskies.
